Psychology A Level

Session details

This two-hour workshop will provide an overview of the A level psychology specification content and assessment structure. There will be an opportunity to discuss ways of delivering g the course including teaching approaches, issues and debates using examples from the introductory topics. The importance of building students’ confidence in research methods will be considered together with ideas for delivering bio-psychology. Examples of student answers will be provided with guidance on how to apply mark schemes.

About the Presenter(s)

Caroline Bunyan has many years of experience as a teacher and Head of Psychology in a successful Sixth Form College.

Over the years she has held posts of Principal Moderator and Principal Examiner for AQA psychology, and is currently Assistant Principal Examiner on Paper 2.

She has provided AQA psychology training for teachers over many years with excellent feedback from delegates.
