This session will focus on engaging and effective techniques to teach two essential physics topics at KS3 - Forces
The session will look at:
- common misconceptions held by pupils and how to use these to further learning;
- useful demonstrations, practicals and questions that can be used in class; and
- the deeper understanding pupils must have to access the new KS4 specifications.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A TWO-PART SESSION AND SHOULD BE BOOKED WITH THE 'SOUND' SESSION ALSO ON THE PROGRAMME
(It is possible that the sessions will 'blur' somewhat as concepts and issues relevant in one will also be covered in the other)
